Does Scanlily replace Xactimate or Symbility?

No. Scanlily is contents-only. It catalogs the items lost in a claim, prices them from live web listings, and produces the contents portion of the Claims Report. It does not estimate structural, wall, floor, or building-system damage.

How does AI Video recognition work for adjusters?

The adjuster films the property and narrates naturally. Scanlily's AI extracts every item from the video - name, brand, model, condition, serial number, manufacturer part number - and writes it into a contents list while the adjuster walks. Voice transcription captures the insured's own words alongside each item.

Where do the values come from?

Scanlily runs a live web search on every item against eBay, manufacturer pages, and specialist resellers, and writes the Replacement Cost Value automatically. The Comparable URL stays attached to each item, with runner-up sources preserved so a value can be swapped in one tap when a carrier challenges a number.

What does the Claims Report look like?

The adjuster filters by customer or claim and hits Generate. The contents schedule includes Ref, Room, Item Name, Brand, Model, Age, Condition, RCV, Comparable URL, and totals. The same data exports to PDF, CSV, and XLSX, and renders identically in the on-screen view.

Can an adjuster capture in the field and finish at a desk?

Yes. Scanlily syncs across phone, tablet, and laptop. The adjuster can capture on a phone in the field and finish at a real keyboard back at the desk - same item, same photos, same comparables, no upload step.

Does Scanlily use insurance-specific terminology?

Yes. When the Insurance system variant is enabled, the field labels are: Cost to Replace (RCV), Actual Cash Value (ACV), Purchase Price, Comparable Price, and Comparable URL. The default pricing mode is "Pick #1" so every item has a defensible external reference.
